"Geometric shapes create space, formed here by the text. Such is the graphic analogy created
by Gergő Kókai with his subject, the development of retail spaces. Multiple lighting effects were used to highlight certain areas and create atmosphere: all these imperatives are also pursued by retail outlets."

I was asked to create the layout of two double pages for the bilingual, Parisian magazine
Formes de Luxe. I came up with a pattern for the layout based on optical illusions which could accommodate both the English and French version of the copies.
At the same time, I used the pattern to create a custom modular typeface called Vazarely.
